Outfit Of The Week 7/26/26 – 8/1/26
This edition of “OOTW” marks Father Style’s 400th article! Champagne all around!
This one is going to be rather quick, as I need to head to some family events in the next few minutes.
The outfit I wanted to feature today is what I wore for an at-home date night a little while back to celebrate my birthday.
The day was lovely! My wife planned tons of excellent food and wine. I got to sleep in, relax, write, workout, play with the kids. It was a great day that culminated with an amazing dinner my wife made.
The outfit I wore for dinner once the kids were in bed consisted of a navy blazer from Brooks Brothers, a light-blue, striped bow tie (also from Brooks Brothers), some light wool trousers in grey from Men’s Wearhouse (my go-to smart trousers when the weather is warm) and my Bass Weejun loafers.
I hadn’t worn the tie in a long time. It has some warm memories associated… I wore it for the first time to my first son’s baby shower!
Like I said, I can’t write too much since I need to hop off. But all in all, my birthday was fabulous!
