Outfit Of The Week 8/9/26 – 8/15/26
This week’s edition of “OOTW” features an outfit I wore while out for a nice day with the family.
We played mini golf, got lunch, and then eventually went to the beach.
This outfit needed to be light and breezy for a hot, summer day. I had also gone on a 3-mile run earlier in the day, so the lightness of the clothes was imperative because I was already pretty sweaty.
I decided on a pair of khaki chinos from Lands’ End, a striped, cotton sport shirt my wife got me as a gift a couple years ago, and navy boat shoes.
I also wore my beat-up Panama hat and my cheap sunglasses.
It’s really amazing how easy it is to slap together a “put-together” outfit! All I really did was put on real pants and a shirt with buttons!
A nice, elevated look really isn’t any more difficult than dressing casually.
All in all, the day was lovely. Any day out with the family (and a cold martini) is a good one.
