Outfit Of The Week 9/13/26 – 9/19/26

I know I have been saying it for a couple weeks now, but it’s REALLY starting to feel like fall!

I had to go into the office recently. Usually the city is at least 10 degrees warmer than it is at my house which makes it hard to wear fun things like tweed this early in the season.

Luckily, the city was pleasantly cool on the day in question so I was able to wear one of my thicker sport coats!

The jacket I wore was part of my 3-piece, tweed suit. I love suits that I can break up and wear as separates. You can’t do that with most suits (as I detail in this article), but a suit in tweed is perfect for it.

My shirt was a blue-and-white striped, oxford-cloth, button-down from Brooks Brothers. My pants were Lands’ End khakis. My shoes were my Beckett Simonon Dunham Derbies which just keep trucking along year after year.

For my trip home that evening I donned my green-and-blue plaid cap.

Oh, and my pocket square was one of my wool-blend paisley ones from Poszetka. I really like this one because it feels very autumn-y.

That’s about all for now. I’m so happy I was able to begin wearing my tweeds again so early in the season! I think I need to make it a point to wear them even more this fall and winter.

Have a wonderful weekend!
