Outfit Of The Week 4/12/26 – 4/18/26
Today’s edition of “OOTW” features a recent gift I received from my wife.
The gift in question is a pink, oxford cloth shirt from Brooks Brothers. I wore this shirt for the first time out of the house about a month ago, and since then I have been itching to wear it to the office, which is what I did earlier this week.

The weather was cool and pleasant on my morning commute, but warmed up considerably throughout the day until it was over 80 degrees in NYC.
I decided to wear a tweed jacket, since it would provide enough warmth in the morning but not look too out-of-season in the afternoon, despite the temperature.

This tweed is actually a great transitional weather piece since it is mostly unlined. A couple of my other tweeds are proper “cold weather” tweeds with full linings. This one, however, is perfect for those meteorologically awkward spring days.
Pink is such an underrated color for oxford shirts. They look spectacular with pretty everything from navy blazers to the brown checked jacket you see here.
Down below, I wore my usual khaki chinos and burgundy Bass Weejuns.

I love this time of year because it’s warm enough to be pleasant, but the bugs aren’t out quite yet. That will change soon, though!
Have a wonderful weekend!
